Like many of my patients, you may have read or heard about the recently-released FDA reports of medical device performance, including breast implants. Here's my response:

I welcome the release of these reports and feel strongly that more transparency and information is better for both surgeons and patients to be able to make the most informed decisions.

However, liposuction is not a weight loss program, so I don’t recommend it to those patients who want to lose a significant amount of weight through plastic surgery.
