After Children, Do Something For Yourself With A Mommy Makeover!

Posted by Dr. Samuel J. Beran on Dec 14, 2016 10:00:00 AM

We’ve all heard the old saying, “A woman’s work is never done.” Well I’d like to change that to “A mother’s work is never done.” From driving the kids to sports practice (and doctors’ appointments, playdates, music lessons, field trips…), to grocery shopping, doing laundry, cooking, cleaning the house, managing the bills, helping with homework, plus getting your own work done, it’s easy to feel that every minute of the day is spent doing things for others.

Now, after dedicating years of your life to caring for your children, you deserve to care for yourself with a makeover. All of the changes that come with pregnancy, childbirth and breastfeeding can be beautifully improved with a Mommy MakeoverFor more information on a Mommy Makeover, download our free fact sheet.

Win The Battle Of The Bulge With A Tummy Tuck

Posted by Dr. Samuel J. Beran on Dec 7, 2016 10:00:00 AM

For many of us as we age, our stomach becomes loose and flabby, then starts to sag and protrude. There are many reasons for this, the most common being: heredity, pregnancy, surgery and losing a significant amount of weight. When this happens, both men and women come to me seeking ways to help reverse the “middle age bulge” that has crept up on them. My recommendation? A tummy tuck.

What is a tummy tuck?

A tummy tuck — or abdominoplasty — is a cosmetic surgery procedure that extracts loose, flabby skin, tightens stomach muscle and contours fat, transforming the midsection into a flatter, smoother abdominal surface.

Is This The Perfect Time For A Tummy Tuck?

Posted by Dr. Samuel J. Beran on Nov 30, 2016 10:00:00 AM

Would you like a flatter, tighter, more toned tummy? Would you like to look and feel better in bathing suits and lingerie? Would you like to get your pre-pregnancy body back? If you answered yes to any (or all) of these questions, I encourage you to consider getting a tummy tuck.

Tummy tuck surgery, also known as abdominoplasty, extracts excess fat and skin from the abdomen and restores weakened or separated abdominal muscles. The result? A smoother, firmer, more attractive midsection.

If You Have Breast Implants, It’s A Good Idea To Get Them Checked

Posted by Dr. Samuel J. Beran on Nov 26, 2016 8:20:02 PM

For women who want larger, fuller breasts, breast implants are a safe, highly successful way to get the breast size they’ve always wanted. Implants are also an excellent way to augment underdeveloped breasts, restore breasts that have decreased in size after a woman has had children, make breasts more symmetrical if one is significantly larger than the other, and reconstruct breasts after a mastectomy. However, although both silicone and saline breast implants are FDA-approved and safe, I recommend that my patients come in for a yearly check-up. For more information on breast augmentation, download our free fact sheet!

Freeze Away Your Inner and Outer Thigh Fat with CoolSculpting

Posted by Dr. Samuel J. Beran on Nov 16, 2016 11:00:00 AM

Many of my patients are self-conscious about their thighs, wishing their legs in that area were thinner, trimmer and more toned. For some, no matter how much they exercise or eat a healthy diet, they still are not able to get rid of stubborn fat in the “saddlebag” or “inner thigh gap” areas. If you also have this problem, you may want to consider CoolSculpting, the only FDA-approved technology of its kind, proven to reduce the size of thighs by freezing away stubborn layers of fat on the inner and outer thighs without surgery or downtime. For more information on CoolSculpting, download our free fact sheet!

Are You A Good Candidate For CoolSculpting?

Posted by Dr. Samuel J. Beran on Nov 9, 2016 10:01:00 AM

CoolSculpting is a non-invasive, non-surgical cosmetic procedure that freezes away stubborn fat by gently targeting and cooling unwanted fat cells in the selected area to produce a noticeable, natural-looking reduction of approximately 25% of fat bulges. It is particularly effective in the treatment of sagging fat pockets on the tummy, back, hips, thighs and arms. Unlike most other methods of fat reduction, CoolSculpting involves no needles, surgery or “downtime.” For more information on CoolSculpting, download our free fact sheet!

What is CoolSculpting And Is It Right for You?

Posted by Dr. Samuel J. Beran on Oct 26, 2016 10:06:00 AM

For many of my patients, men and women, despite their best efforts at healthy eating and regular exercise, they still have pockets of unsightly, unwanted fat cells that simply will not go away. In these cases, I often recommend a highly-successful, non-invasive treatment called CoolSculpting.

CoolSculpting is a non-surgical cosmetic procedure that freezes stubborn fat cells and expels them from your body. The only FDA-approved technology of its kind, CoolSculpting achieves a noticeable reduction of approximately 20-25% of the fat bulges in the treated areas — without needles, surgery or “downtime.” For more information on CoolSculpting, download our free fact sheet!

When to Consider Breast Reduction

Posted by Dr. Samuel J. Beran on Oct 19, 2016 10:25:00 AM

In my plastic surgery practice, many women come to me wanting larger breasts. However, I also have many patients who would like their breasts to be smaller. Very large breasts, especially on small-framed women, can cause physical discomfort, neck pain, back pain, rashes, problems with exercise, and even embarrassment.

If you feel your breasts are too large and have become uncomfortable, breast reduction surgery can bring about dramatic, life-altering changes for you. As well as reducing the size and weight of your breasts, this procedure also improves the shape of your breasts and nipple areas, allowing you to feel good about yourself and your appearance, sometimes for the first time.
