Now your breast implants can be as unique as you are!
You’re one of a kind, from your face, body and personality to where you are in life and where you’re going. Wouldn’t it be great if your breast implants could also be as unique as you are? Now they can be, with Natrelle gummy gel breast implants. You choose the size, shape and gel consistency for a breast silhouette that’s all your own. In addition to breast implants, I also offer a complete range of breast procedures which you can learn about here.
What is a “gummy” breast implant?
“Gummy” and “gumminess” describe the particular consistency of the silicone gel inside the Natrelle INSPIRA® breast implants. All of the Natrelle implants are soft, but there are three different levels of gumminess to choose from, depending on the degree of gel firmness or squishiness you want.
As I tell my patients who are considering Natrelle gummy breast implants, the best
way to determine the amount of gumminess that would be right for you is to feel each implant during your consultation with me in my office. You can hold the different implants in your hands so you can judge their softness or firmness for yourself. You
can also turn them upright to get an idea of what their shape and silhouette would be once they’re implanted.
With Natrelle gummy gel implants, you have four different degrees of breast fullness to choose from
Natrelle smooth gummy gel implants offer you four choices of breast fullness, from minimal to maximum, depending on the look you would like to achieve.
You also have a choice of five breast silhouettes…
In addition to the four choices of fullness, Natrelle gummy gel implants also offer you five profiles, or breast silhouettes, ranging from low to extra full. Based on your body structure and personal goals, I can customize the particular look you are hoping to achieve.
…and three different levels of gumminess
Since no two women are alike, and the results they are seeking to achieve from breast augmentation are unique to them, Natrelle’s implants offer three different amounts of cohesivities (“gumminess”). The gummier the implant, the more it holds its shape when held in your hand.
Choosing the best implant for you
When helping a patient decide which type of implant would be right for her, I typically take into consideration the following:
- her body type
- her age
- her overall health
- the current size of her breasts
- the breast size she’s hoping to achieve
Are breast implants safe? My answer is yes.
In over 20 years of performing breast implant surgery in my plastic surgery practice, I have encountered very few complications in my patients as a result. For women who want larger breasts, who want the size and shape of their breasts to match, or who have had a mastectomy and want breast reconstruction, breast implants are a highly satisfying, long-lasting solution.
I perform my procedures at the Surgical Specialty Center of Westchester
For almost every plastic surgery procedure I perform, including breast augmentation surgery, I use the Surgical Specialty Center of Westchester. As the standard of excellence in the region, this technologically advanced, leading-edge facility was specifically designed by our group of surgeons (Cosmetic Surgery Associates) to provide our patients with the highest level of care, personal privacy and optimal surgical results. Insurance companies consider breast implants to be elective cosmetic surgery and usually do not cover it, which means the procedure would be self-pay.
How much do breast implants cost?
One of the first questions my patients ask me when they’re considering getting breast implants is how much they will cost. My answer is that there is no one standard price. Every woman’s breasts are unique, and the results she is seeking from breast augmentation surgery are specific to her. That’s why I determine the exact cost of the procedure after I have met with the patient, evaluated her breasts, body type, overall physical condition and personal goals and expectations. Then together, she and I will decide what type of procedure will achieve the best possible results.
If you have breast implants, please come in to get them checked
If you have breast implants — saline, silicone, textured or gummy — it’s important to get them checked regularly for ruptures, slippage, leakage, swelling or any other potential problems. For all of my patients with implants, I strongly recommend getting them checked once a year. If you have textured implants (the subject of a recent recall), you should act even sooner — contact me to get them checked right away.
Symptoms of potential implant problems
If you are experiencing of the following symptoms, contact me right away:
- breast asymmetry
However, if there are no symptoms, there is no reason to remove the implants.
