Many of the patients in my practice are mothers, and of course, they’re all different: different personalities, different ages, different body types. However, one theme that seems to be constant for all of them is the way they take care of everyone in their lives before themselves. Whether it’s a spouse or partner, children, parents, co-workers or even pets, they often put themselves last. It’s almost as if they feel guilty doing something for themselves.
I challenge you to think differently! After all the hardships of the past two years, consider doing something that will make you feel really good about yourself. If you’ve been thinking about getting a Mommy Makeover but keep putting it off, wondering if it’s the right time, wondering if you deserve it, I encourage you to take that step and say yes.
As well as a Mommy Makeover , I offer a wide range of other body sculpting procedures that can help you achieve a trimmer, more shapely body. To learn more, click here.
A Mommy Makeover is a combination of 6 procedures: you choose which ones
A Mommy Makeover consists of a customized combination of plastic surgery procedures. Choosing to have several procedures at the same time rather than individually is actually more beneficial—not only do you get better results but you undergo one recovery downtime rather than several, so you are inconvenienced as little as possible. I also want you to know that in my plastic surgery practice, I use the latest, state-of-the-art techniques to minimize my patients’ pain and recovery time so they can quickly return to their families and their lives.
Choose from these 6 procedures for a trimmer, younger-looking body
Breast augmentation surgery is performed to enlarge small breasts, underdeveloped breasts or breasts that have decreased in size after a woman has had children. It can also make breasts more symmetrical if one is significantly larger or smaller than the other. There are three types of breast implants available in the U.S.: saline (sterile saltwater), silicone gel, the Ideal Implant (a structured, saline-filled implant) and the Natrelle® Gummy Breast Implant.
Breast lift surgery restores the shape and contour of breasts that have sagged as a result of pregnancy, breastfeeding, weight loss, age, gravity, heredity and other factors. This procedure re-positions the nipple and areola (the pink skin surrounding the nipple) to a higher position, moves the breast tissue to a higher level, removes excess skin from the lower portion of the breast, and reshapes the remaining breast skin.
Liposuction slims and reshapes specific areas of the body by removing excess fat deposits and improving your body contours and proportion. As long as you maintain your weight, liposuction is a permanent solution for fat removal. The most commonly-requested areas of the body for liposuction are: waist, hips, flanks, arms, abdomen, thighs, buttocks and lower legs.
A Brazilian butt lift uses liposuction to take pockets of excess fat from unwanted areas such as your belly, waist or thighs and transfer it to the buttocks area, increasing the size, shape, position and fullness of your butt. The benefits of a Brazilian butt lift are two-fold: it slims and trims those areas where you have too much fat, while giving you a higher, fuller, firmer butt. Plus, since a Brazilian Butt Lift uses your own fat, there is very little risk of rejection.
Tummy tuck surgery, also known as abdominoplasty, is a highly effective way to reduce excess fat and skin and tighten abdominal muscles. A tummy tuck removes loose, flabby skin that has lost its shape and elasticity, strengthens weakened stomach muscles, improves the look and shape of the belly button, defines the waist, removes stretch marks, and creates a smoother, tighter midsection.
Lower body lift surgery, often done in conjunction with liposuction, reduces excess fat and loose, hanging skin. It is also very effective at tightening and sculpting the buttocks, back of the thighs, outer thighs, inner thighs, hips and abdomen. This surgery may also help minimize the appearance of cellulite.
Make sure you’re getting a Mommy Makeover for the right reasons
It’s important to realize that a Mommy Makeover is major surgery with a certain amount of recovery time. For that reason, you should undertake a Mommy Makeover for yourself, not to attain an idealized, unrealistic image of beauty or to fulfill someone else’s idea of what your body should look like.
Ideal candidates for Mommy Makeover surgery should:
- be in good medical health
- be at or near their ideal body weight
- have a positive outlook and realistic expectations
- be finished with childbearing
- not smoke or drink excessively
How much does a Mommy Makeover cost?
One of the first questions my patients usually ask me when they’re considering having a Mommy Makeover is how much it will cost. My answer is that there is no one standard price. Recognizing that every woman’s body and desired results are unique to her, I determine the exact cost of a Mommy Makeover after I have met with the patient, evaluated her body type, amount of fat stores, overall physical condition and her personal goals and expectations. Then together, we will decide which combination of plastic surgery procedures will achieve the best possible results. For further pricing details, please contact me.
