Do you wish your breasts were larger, higher, firmer and more youthful looking? Would you like to feel sexier in bathing suits, tight tops and lingerie? Are your breasts two different sizes or shapes and you’d like them to match? If you answered yes to any of these, I highly recommend breast augmentation, not only to enlarge the size of your breasts but to help you look and feel more confident, more feminine and more alluring. In addition to breast augmentation, I offer a complete range of breast procedures which you can learn about here.
When considering breast augmentation, choose a board-certified plastic surgeon who understands the latest breast enhancement options and techniques
The plastic surgeon you choose for breast implant surgery is an excellent resource to help you understand the differences between implant types, and also someone who can help you choose the one that’s best for you and your individual goals. Before you commit to this surgery, however, make sure to check your surgeon’s credentials and experience.
I am very experienced in performing breast augmentation
In my plastic surgery practice in Westchester, NY, I have performed hundreds of successful breast augmentation procedures for more than 20 years, with very few complications. I am board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS), am a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), and am a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). I have a thorough command of the most advanced surgical techniques and technologies, and consistently provide my patients with the highest level of plastic, cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries. In addition, I am on staff at White Plains Hospital and Lennox Hill Hospital.
I offer four types of breast implants, all of them safe
- Silicone breast implants—filled with silicone gel.
- Saline breast implants—filled with saline (sterile saltwater).
- The IDEAL implant—contains a series of structured implant shells and two separate chambers filled with saline.
- Natrelle® gummy breast implants—filled with silicone gel. Choose from five profiles (low to extra full), four degrees of fullness (minimal to maximum) and three levels of cohesivity (gumminess).
Most women—and most plastic surgeons, myself included—prefer the look and feel of silicone or structured implants (rather than saline). Both of these are generally considered to look and feel more like real breast tissue, while saline implants are more prone to cause rippling of the skin. Women are also reporting high satisfaction rates with the new gummy versions because they can choose the size and shape of their implants for a more customized, unique look.

No matter which type of plastic surgery procedure my patients are considering, I truly believe that the best patient is an informed patient. Watch my 2-minute video about breast implants by clicking here or on the image below.
As I tell my patients who are considering this type of surgery, you need to understand that breast implants will not give you an entirely new life or suddenly make you look like a supermodel or movie star. Your age, body type, the size of your existing breasts and the size you wish to achieve all will ultimately determine the end results. I encourage my patients to have this procedure for themselves, not to make someone else happy that they now have bigger breasts.
Are you a good candidate for breast augmentation?
Before deciding if a patient is a good candidate for breast implant surgery, I take into consideration:
- her body type
- her age
- the current size of her breasts
- the breast size she would like to be
You are not a good candidate for breast augmentation if:
- You have had previous radiation therapy
- You are under 18 years old
- You do not fully understand breast augmentation surgery and/or breast implant procedures
- You do not have realistic expectations about breast augmentation surgery
- You are pregnant, breastfeeding or have an infection
How much do breast implants cost?
One of the first questions my patients ask me when they’re considering getting breast implants is how much the surgery will cost. My answer is that there is not one standard price. Every woman’s breasts are unique, and the results she is seeking from breast augmentation surgery are specific to her. That’s why I determine the exact cost of the procedure after I have met with the patient, evaluated her breasts and body type, her overall physical condition and her personal goals and expectations. Then together, we will decide what type of procedure will achieve the best possible results.

If you have breast implants, especially textured ones, you should call your plastic surgeon or come see me for an exam
If you have any type of breast implant — saline, silicone, structured or textured — it’s important to get them checked for ruptures, slippage, leakage, swelling, the above-mentioned rare cancer or any other potential problems. For my patients with implants, I strongly recommend getting them checked once a year. If you have textured implants which are part of the Allergan recall, you should act even sooner — get them checked right away.
Symptoms of potential problems include:
- breast asymmetry
If you are experiencing of these symptoms, consult your plastic surgeon right away. However, if there are no symptoms, there is no reason to remove the implants.
